It seems as though, I should say,
I feel as if I'm here today,
Though I am not and that is queer,
I'm really in another year.

Another year, one that has passed,
They all go by so fucking fast,
That who's to say what day is now,
And when, and why, and where, and how?

They'll tell you all you want to hear,
And plague your pretty dreams with fear,
We mustn't let them, we must resist,
So shout out loud and raise your fist!

"I'm Me," you cry, "And I am Strong,
Let's now put right what once was wrong!"
Politics are an evil thing,
Think of wonders our minds could bring!

So you don't have to be right here,
You can choose your own damn year,
Just be yourself and what you like,
And tell the others to take a hike.

Have sex with one, or have alot,
One brings joy, and one will not.
Monogamy seems right to me,
No confusion, just you and me.

God's left us to fend for ourselves,
It's US who choose to go to hell,
Don't be like that, make up your mind,
Be it acts that are nice, or those unkind.

But only one will set you free,
Will spread the love between you and me,
And I hope that you will be my friend,
And we will see a happy end.
